PRIVACY
POLICY
Strada ("the app") is a night-driving log and social cruising app.
This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.
Last updated: July 4, 2026
What stays on your phone
- Drives โ routes, distances, speeds, timestamps of your recorded trips.
- Garage, fuel and service logs, photos of your cars.
- Roads Conquered map and Drive Scores.
None of this leaves your device unless described below.
What is stored on our servers
When you sign in with Apple, we store on our backend (Supabase, hosted in the EU):
- Account โ your Apple user identifier, display name and handle you choose,
and your profile photo if you set one.
- Presence โ your live status (driving/parked/offline), weekly distance and
average Drive Score, and โ only while you use Cruise mode "live" โ your current location,
so nearby cruisers can see you. Going dark stops sharing immediately; presence expires
automatically.
- Cruise activity โ invites ("pings"), headlight flashes, ride convoys, and
ride-chat messages including shared meet points.
- Push tokens โ so invites and messages can reach your device.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, no sale of data.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Safety
You can report any user or message and block any user in the
app; blocked users disappear from your radar, leaderboard and chats. Reports are reviewed and
can lead to account removal.
Deleting your data
Settings โ Danger zone โ Delete account permanently removes your account and
all server-side data (profile, presence, rides, messages, photos). Local data can be erased
with Reset, or by deleting the app.
Permissions the app asks for
- Location (While Using / Always-optional) โ recording drives and, if you
choose, auto-starting them and appearing in Cruise mode.
- Motion โ automatic drive detection.
- Camera / Photos โ profile and car pictures.
- Notifications โ drive alerts, cruise invites, chat messages.
